Cindy for the People of Parkland

Meet Cindy

Now that my husband and I are empty nesters, I made the decision to further support our community by running for city commissioner. I enjoy consistently attending commission meetings and am honored to have been nominated to serve on the City Charter Review Board.  I am proud of our local government, and it would be a privilege to join the commission and serve our citizens.

I love our family-friendly town— its amazing people, rich history, and unique culture. I will fight to ensure Parkland continues to thrive.

I look forward to the opportunity to give back to the community that has given so much to me and serve each of you as the people of Parkland. Let’s use our voices and votes to make a difference!

Thank you for your support!

I’m a Midwesterner who moved to Florida to attend law school, where I met my husband. As a lawyer with 25+ years experience, I have litigated and served as corporate counsel. When I was pregnant with my eldest daughter 24 years ago, my husband and I discovered the special city of Parkland and have loved this home for our two kids ever since. Our family has always loved engaging in community activities, including volunteering (Best Buddies, Aston Gardens, PTSO, Relay For Life), church, soccer, flag football, etc. We enrolled both our kids in Parkland’s public school system, starting with pre-school, Park Trails elementary, Westglades Middle, and Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school. This city’s amazing educators have made a wonderful impact on our family, and we are so proud of them.

Our two kids are survivors of the February 14th, 2018 tragedy. In the wake of this event, our family united with local residents and citizens across the world to rebuild our community, promote safety, and care for our collective mental health. We are so grateful for the support of local organizations such as Parkland Cares, Eagles Haven, JAF and many others.
